Project Initiation

The formal start of a project, including authorization, purpose, initial objectives, governance, and key stakeholder identification.

Having a defined beginning and end rather than continuing indefinitely.

A physical, measurable deliverable such as equipment, a structure, installed material, or manufactured item.

A nonphysical deliverable such as a design, report, software, approval, service, model, or knowledge product.
